DOLLNER's canvasses - with their bold brush strokes that are seemingly riveted together with the artist's own character - offer a unique and stylized peek into the past.  Paintings such as "Field Wagon," "Cotton Pickers," "The Old School House" and "Ebony Times" are rendered in black, whites and shades of gray with a hint of color for emphasis and are her more powerful works.
Her color paintings, which are mostly acrylic, characterize elements of human structure forms, textured and un-textured, and seem to burst with vibrant brilliance.
